What is "Management Training"?

Proper Management Training has its foundation set in Leadership Development, and servant leaders are the most effective managers, no question. However, Management Training goes beyond fundamental leadership attributes into learning professionalism, structure & organization, crucial conversations, hiring & interviewing, communication skills, and more.

Why not hire a "natural born leader" instead of paying for management training?

While it is true that some people have a higher level of innate leadership ability than others, the term “natural born leader” is a misnomer used by cheap business owners who don’t want to spend money on training. Leadership ability lies within everyone to some extent, but no one has a full leadership toolkit out of the womb. Managing and/or leading people is a learned process of development like any other. Even Michael Jordan wasn’t great at basketball at first. He had to be trained and learn his craft before he became the legend we know today. This is no different than leadership. The trick is finding someone with the right amount of natural ability to be worth investing time and money into training properly, and not cutting corners along the way.

Why hire compass freedom for your management training?

The owner of Compass Freedom, Brad Craven, learned leadership development and management training, on the job. He didn’t learn concepts in a classroom that he hasn’t personally tested and mastered. Brad spent over a year in an extremely intense Management Training Program for a national marketing agency brokerage whose clients were mostly Fortune 500 companies. The main means of driving revenue for their clients was going door to door. The door to door industry has a notoriously high turnover rate and has been labeled a “revolving door industry” as a result of how fast people come and go.

Despite this, Brad was able to develop a team of 30+ people with one of the highest retention rates in the nation at the time. His team went on to generate over $1,500,000 in annual revenue for their main client, leaving the industry in shock. While Brad understood the importance of raising the bottom line and thrived in doing so, his heart was always in serving people. As a result, Brad decided to go into business for himself, teaching these tried and tested skills to other small business owners so that they can also build dynamic, diverse, nationally ranking teams that go on to crush every goal they set their minds to.

“The Bottom Line: Coaching produced a 529% return on investment and significant intangible benefits to the business. Including the financial benefits from employee retention boosted the overall ROI to 788%”
